I am encouraged to learn that our City Council is reviewing The Avenue project and hope that they will not approve any project that would add to the congestion, noise and pollution to our beautiful city. Earlier this year the L.A. City Council, under pressure, cancelled the Lomas project which would have increased traffic on the 5, 210, and 14 freeways. How dumb would it be to build a larger project only 2 or 3 miles north ! That would absolutely send the wrong message to L.A. City and County, that we are willing to accept large development in our neighborhood.... we are NOT !

Only the people can save the neighborhoods of Santa Clarita. We do not want to live in the San Fernando Valley. Responsible development only please.

At last night's City Council Public Hearing we learned this project has been put on hold by the developer. This morning in the Signal: Developer wants to rethink plans for old mule ranch. Jeffrey Lambert says turning the property into a park will not likely get much attention from them. The Coalition has clearily won the first battle in this war. Now is not the time to hibernate. They will be back and they cannot be trusted.

There will be elections during and after this project..The entire valley votes. let the politics . how about a new city council next time then we wont have the developers in the city councils wallets..
